Brentford boss Thomas Frank was left frustrated by his side’s performance. Despite a stoppage-time winner to beat 10-man Ipswich 4-3 in a dramatic football game.
“I’m still frustrated, to be honest. In many ways we weren’t good enough. So I’ve got a lot of respect and admiration for Ipswich. They were clearly the better team in the first 40 minutes. The only team on the pitch, and it was one of our worst games in the Premier League.” UFABET
“The last five minutes were better and in the second half. We were clearly the better team and came back to 3-2, then we lost the instinct to finish.”
“It was a great cross and a great finish at 3-3. They played very well and at 4-3 we played a lot of balls in and if you keep doing that you might miss some at the end. That said, when we play it’s exciting.”
On the win: “It was very important. It was a great mentality to come back from 0-2 down and then to win in the last minute was a big moment. Last year we had a long game that we couldn’t win, but this season we finally won a game like this.”
On whether his players could have done better: “Yes, I said at half-time I was angry. It’s not often that I get this frustrated, but we played very poorly. In football and in the Premier League, nothing is certain, so we have to enjoy the win.”Brentford
